Hillsboro, OR, February 24, 2017Radisys® Corporation (NASDAQ: RSYS), the services acceleration company, and AudioCodes, a leading provider of converged voice solutions, today announced the completion of joint certification and interoperability testing of the AudioCodes WebRTC-enabled Mediant family of Session Border Controllers (SBCs) and Radisys’ MediaEngine™ cloud-accelerated transcoding portfolio. The integrated solution allows large enterprises and service providers, with growing real-time video transcoding needs, to add video-enabled communication services to their IP networks easily and elegantly, while fully preserving and protecting their investment in voice SBCs.

“AudioCodes helps its customers deploy Skype for Business, Contact Center and other unified communications services by delivering IP communications platforms to support interworking among VoIP, WebRTC as well as TDM communication silos,” said Yehuda Herscovici, vice president, Product, AudioCodes. “We wanted to support our customers’ growing demands for video services and Radisys’ industry-leading MediaEngine TRF complements AudioCodes’ Mediant SBCs to address the high-performance WebRTC video transcoding requirements.”
