The world of digital services continues to advance exponentially. To embrace this level of digital transformation, Communication Service Providers already know they need to migrate their network functions to the cloud. Global trends indicate these service providers are increasingly maturing their Software-Defined Networking and Network Functions Virtualization strategies to accelerate the deployment of cloud-based digital services. In addition, while trials and early deployments of SDN and NFV are already in the works, scaling these deployments to support the breadth of service possibilities, while delivering the economics essential for profitable revenue generation, will require new infrastructure solutions designed for telecom operations.
