RADISYS SOLUTION BRIEF | Radisys M-CORD: The Open Platform for Emerging 5G Applications 7 www.radisys.com M-CORD Evolution: An Open Platform for 5G As M-CORD evolves within industry forums such as ONF/ON.Lab and is harmonized with existing standard development organizations (SDOs) such as 3GPP, 5GPP, NGMN, IETF, etc., it has some unique capabilities that can be delivered as an open platform for the 5G roadmap. These capabilities meet both vertical and horizontal requirements for Open Programmable So ware-enabled virtualized 5G networks. Radisys' M-CORD Key PoC Demonstration Radisys is one of the leading systems integrators for CORD. For M-CORD, Radisys provides services to integrate of all the open source components to deliver an end-to-end use that has been demonstrated as a PoC. Radisys is also a contributor to the VNF side of the equation with its RAN solution (TOTALeNodeB) and EPC (including MME, SGW and PGW). The following section describes a use case designed for the IoT market. The use case leverages Radisys' VNFs and M-CORD solution.
