Radisys’ TOTALeNodeB LTE small cell software integrated with Benetel’s flexible eNodeB hardware platform facilitates the creation of a low-power, complete hardware solution, reducing mobile operators’ time-to-market
HILLSBORO, OR, U.S. – March 2, 2015: Radisys® Corporation (NASDAQ: RSYS), the services acceleration company, and Benetel, an innovative small cell eNodeB hardware platform company, today announced that they have partnered to deliver a Distributed Antenna System (DAS) targeted base station platform. The platform leverages Radisys’ TOTALeNodeB™ LTE small cell software and Benetel’s hardware platform, providing mobile operators with a complete small cell platform that can reduce their time-to-market.
Mobile operators are deploying Distributed Antenna Systems in stadiums, shopping malls, high-rise buildings and large outdoor arenas to support subscriber demand for high bandwidth, even in dense environments. The Radisys and Benetel low-power solution delivers a complete eNodeB LTE small cell base station that extends coverage and capacity to where it’s needed most.
