Qualcomm and Reliance Jio Align Efforts on 5G

October 21, 2020

Qualcomm and Reliance Jio Platforms along with Radisys announced the expansion of efforts to expedite the development and roll out of indigenous 5G network infrastructure and services in India. This effort centers around the creation of open and interoperable interface-compliant architectures for a virtualized RAN.

Radisys Connect Open RAN portfolio delivers the virtualized 5GNR solution mobile operators need as they deploy their 5G networks. Additionally, Radisys is working to ensure greater interoperability for open disaggregated RAN solutions through its leadership in industry standards groups establishing open RAN network architectures.

As a wholly owned subsidiary of Reliance Jio Platforms, Radisys is proud to support these efforts both in India, and across the globe.
