The MulteFire Alliance has completed its Release 1.0 specification which defines LTE operation stand-alone in unlicensed and shared spectrum, while ensuring fair sharing of spectrum with other users and technologies such as Wi-Fi. MulteFire delivers LTE-like performance with Wi-Fi-like deployment simplicity.
