Radisys has unveiled a new platform for smart devices called Radisys Reach Smart Home. The platform lets service providers provide a safe system to their customers for the connection of all their smart appliances, sensors and controllers, through an open device ecosystem.
The system connects with sensors and cameras from multiple vendors, while its software and cloud backend enables the home automation services.The platform connects to sensors over Zigbee, security cameras over Wi-Fi, and uses Wi-Fi or Ethernet for backhaul connection with the cloud backend.
