Category 10: Outstanding Contribution to Small Cell Open RAN platforms or standards development
This award recognizes the many years of standards and software contributions that Radisys has made to the O-RAN Alliance, SCF, ONF, ONAP and other organizations that together facilitate many of the new Small Cell and Open RAN platforms.
In particular the award is for Radisys’ Connect RAN Small Cell Release 16 software that is O-RAN compliant and which enables the rapid creation of elastic and agile 5G use cases across multiple industry verticals.
The Radisys Connect 5G NR software leverages multiple key standards to easily integrate with existing and new network ecosystems.
