Radisys’ own Ray Adensamer, director of marketing, has been honored by TMC, Systemwide Media and PKE Consulting with a 2014 WebRTC Pioneer Award for his contributions to the WebRTC industry. This award recognizes those who have helped drive the growth and evolution of WebRTC and the “webification” of communications.
I’ve had the privilege of working with Ray at Radisys for a number of years and can attest to his product marketing expertise around IP media processing technologies for real-time services, including WebRTC. Within Radisys, Ray has helped define product enhancements and strategies to expand our product portfolio into WebRTC services, while also providing industry leadership in the movement to monetize this technology.
Our MPX-OS supports real-time multimedia processing requirements for IMS MRF, OTT, cloud, and WebRTC communication services. It serves as the software foundation for our Media Resource Function (MRF) portfolio, including the MPX-12000 Broadband MRF and Software MRF.
We also recently announced WebConnect™ JAVA, a software library that enables Java-based Service Delivery Platforms (SDPs) to easily integrate and leverage the power of Radisys’ MRF products. WebConnect™ JAVA allows Java developers to exploit the Radisys MRF’s real-time, multimedia processing capabilities for WebRTC, OTT, and cloud communication services.
This year has been punctuated by several wins and accolades for our MRF portfolio. Our groundbreaking MPH6 Media Processing Card for the MPX-12000 recently won the 2014 Communications Solutions Product of the Year Award from TMCnet. In addition, our virtualized Media Resource Function (MRF) has won the 2014 Telecoms.com LTE Award for Best VoLTE Innovation. We’re pleased to see Radisys continue to receive industry validation for our media processing solutions. Please join me in congratulating Ray for this recognition for his outstanding contributions in the WebRTC space!
