KT Introduces LTE Femtocell at Mobile World Congress Video

KT (Korea Telecom) succeeded in its development of a sub-miniature base station (i.e., small cell) capable of handling LTE service via a single chip. KT supervised the R&D project that was carried out jointly with Juni, a Korean SME; Mindspeed, a major chipset manufacturer; and Radisys, a major embedded wireless infrastructure solutions company.
